Eutron is the only company in Romania certified for the sale and implementation of The TPD-compliant SOFTWARE solution from Ineco.
What does TPD traceability mean?
Individual products (cigarette/tobacco packages) are marked with a unique code during production, and then aggregated into larger packing units. Each packing unit (cartus, bax, pallet) is also marked with a unique code.
From production to entry into retail/retail stores, all movements and modifications to uniquely identified packaging units must be reported to the EU Secondary Database within a specific period of time.
Operational events requiring reporting are:
- reception (scan-in
- disaggregation
- picking
- scan-out
- cross-docking
- return
- destruction
- sales-out registration (cash & carry, van-sales, automatic sales loading... etc.)
- processing of returns (made at package level and possible aggregation)
- inventory
Transactional events must also be reported for delivery processes:
- Sales order/delivery provision information (single customer code, unique customer work point code, mode of transport and vehicle number)
- Invoice Information (Order Information / Delivery Provision + Invoice Value)
- Receipt Information
Economic Operators Involved in the Traceability Process
Mandatory full traceability involves the entire distribution chain: manufacturers, distributors, wholesale and cash&carry operators, logistics service providers that manage warehouses for distributors and retailers and retailers that have their own distribution warehouses and distribute to their own network of stores.
