The pre-filter is responsible for the largest ambient dust particles, the activated carbon filter eliminates all types of organic and chemical odors, such as formaldehyde, and the HEPA filter is the one that retains 99.95% of contaminants, including viruses. Some purifiers are also equipped with UV-C technology of ultraviolet light radiation, which in turn has a germicidal action and can be used.
